The Loxin Low Column machine is the most suitable solution when V-axis is not needed.
This configuration has been widely used for machining/drilling of elements such as wing spars, pylons, doors and small A/C sections where the work area is smaller than the tricept work envelope.
The L/C configuration can be mounted on a pinion rack driven U-Axis when longer elements have to be worked.
Loxin has also developed a special arrangement including this configuration and a rotating base integrated on the U-Axis. This arrangement grants working on two parallel jigs without compromising machine performance.
